Join our many "Blanketeers"

Those to make blankets for Project Linus are called Blanketeers and it takes lots of them to help meet the needs of children in our county.   In addition to individuals in the community, the following groups make and donate blankets to our chapter.

       Sociology Club, Sam Houston State University

       American Heritage Girls troops

       Montgomery County 4-H

       Walker County 4-H

       Apple Tree School students

Other Ways to Get Involved with Project Linus

  • Attend Chapter Meetings and assist with blanket processing
  • Make and donate blankets
  • Make a tax-deductible donation to the Montgomery County, TX Chapter of Project Linus, which is part of the 501(c)3 national organization.   This can be done through the national website (www.projectlinus.org) or by contacting Ms. Marc Layton, Chapter Coordinator.
  • Give a gift card to JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby or Walmart
