Project Linus is a national non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:
First, to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
Second, to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested
individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
Chapter Meetings are great fun as we prepare donated blankets for delivery to the agencies we work with. Of course, there is always talk and laughter and we would
love to have you join us! You don't need to bring anything
with you--just come.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no Chapter
Meetings or other group gatherings
until Thursday, September 3, 2020.
Come join us at that time!
In the meantime, we can all be working
on blankets for the fall.
Our urgent need is for Teen-size blankets in any of the fabrics--quilt, fleece, crochet and knit. The Teen size requires 1 1/2 to 2 yards of fleece and the step-by-step instructions can be found under the Guidelines tab above.
Thank you for your help,
Ms. Marc Layton, Chapter Coordinator
