Project Linus is a national non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:
First, to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
Second, to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested
individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
Come join the fun at our Chapter Meetings
Thursday, September 6, 2018 9:30am, Chapter Meeting
Our Project Linus Chapter takes a break from monthly meetings during the months of June, July and August, though the blanket-making continues through those months. Please join us after the break on Sept. 6 for the next Chapter Meeting.
As of January, 2018, we urgently need fleece blankets in the Child and Teen sizes to help us meet requests from our hospitals and other agencies we provide our blankets to. We accept fleece blankets made according to the guidelines on this website and appreciate the assistance of the community as we continue to provide handmade blankets to children who are ill.
Please contact the Chapter Coordinator with any questions and thank you for your help.
